Thank you for supporting Arlene's Beans!!

Why are we closed at Arlene’s Beans on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday?

Sunday:  God, Family and Football!!

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday:  Work on at-home duties, Shop, Re-stock and Prepare Arlene’s Beans for the week

Everything that is prepared for you at Arlene’s Beans is homemade. Made from scratch and are Arlene’s own recipes. Her salsas and sauces are natural and gluten-free.  Flour or wheat is not used in any of her meats, rice, sauces or salsas. The red and green chile enchilada sauces are also natural and vegan and vegetarian. Red chile pods are cleaned thoroughly. Stems and seeds removed, soaked and cooked to perfection. Roasted green chile is from Hatch, NM and is also cleaned and cooked to Arlene’s liking.

Arlene’s beans are natural, purchased from local markets. The beans are cleaned to remove any dirt clots and rocks, then soaked and cooked so that you can enjoy! No lard is ever used in any of her dishes. Olive oil and canola oils are used to provide you a delicious, healthier, Mexican dish. Arlene is very proud to offer dishes to you and your family as natural and healthy as possible. Everything is made with love, from her family to yours.

This page was created to start my catering business to share real, unforgettable and Authentic Mexican food from my kitchen to yours.

I was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, by two loving and hard-working Mexican parents, who showed us how to live as hard-workers with integrity, love and respect for others. One of my most fond memories as a child was watching my mother cook and serve any guest who walked into our doors, at any given time.

She has always been my inspiration and her love of cooking inspired me and I have converted many of her original recipes into my own. I have had the privilege to cook for my family and friends for many years and they have also encouraged me "to open up my own restaurant" So here is my start to new friends.

All of my love,

Arlene
